As a parent or carer, you are an important part of our school community. We offer a range of services to support you and your family.
Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C)
Our Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) is made up of parents and carers, teachers and community members. The P&C meets regularly to contribute to decision-making, developing policies and management plans as well as fundraising.
Inner Sydney High School P&C Committee
President: Katrina Ben-Moshe
Vice President: Sabine Dowson
Vice President: Sasha Firth
Secretary: Olivia Sarah-Le Lacheur
Treasurer: Christine Lantai
We would like to thank our departing executive committee members for all your hard work and enthusiasm throughout 2022. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
Join the P&C to build our school community and provide opportunities for our children.
As we are in a newly built school, the Inner Sydney P&C does not need to focus on fundraising to support maintenance and enhancement of school resources. We are instead able to focus on community building and engagement and providing opportunities for our children. We have over 40 parents who have joined the P&C and we encourage many more to join us!
P&C meetings are held every 6 weeks, either via zoom or a hybrid face to face/zoom. You can join as often as you are able to and agenda items are tabled in advance so that you know what will be discussed. The AGM is held once a year and as a paid member you are able to vote at this important business meeting.
The membership fee is $2 only and it’s easy to complete the application form and payment online.
Joining or renewing your membership is simple.
- Click on the Membership form link and confirm or update your contact details (renewal due following the AGM Term 1, Week 7)
- Pay your $2 annual membership fee (per person, not family) via direct bank transfer (EFT)

Interpreting and translations
We will help you communicate with our school. If you’d like an interpreter for a school meeting, let us know and we will arrange one, if available.
If you don’t speak or understand English well and want to contact us, call TIS National on 131 450 and ask for an interpreter in your language. The operator will call the school and get an interpreter to help. This service is free.
For more information, listen in your language.
Visit the department’s translated documents section for important information that’s relevant for your child’s education in many languages.
